The ‘Community Hub’ has developed into the heart of the community and the demands on the services provided from there are ever increasing.

Run by a dedicated and experienced number of volunteers they are on hand six mornings per week, including Saturday morning.

The growth has seen in particular hundreds of residents benefit from the services offered and non more than in the times of the pandemic..!! 

 

Delivering prescriptions for vulnerable and elderly residents, foodbank items and on many occasions being a listening ear for those suffering from Social Isolation. Add to this referrals to many services and working with the Police to address anti social behaviour and crime issues then the team of volunteers at the Community Hub certainly have their hands full.
